No Mods, and all my game content is up to date. I'm on a Mac
sorry i'm not a mac player Here's a few trouble shooting steps: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/Links-to-Mac-help-threads-and-guides/m-p/749664#U749664
If those don't help, I would suggest posting in the mac forum at thesims3.com (make sure your language is set to US): http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/forums/show/205.page since macs are not well covered on the AnswerHQ.

Also had this problem, on a PC, so it's not isolated to one OS.
The singer walked off stage when the show "ended", and all of the props vanished. I didn't get paid, and I noticed that the venue didn't return to normal. I was able to set the stage back up again and do another show which ended a little more normally, but still didn't get paid. The gig also remained in my schedule, despite not being a steady gig.

@PocketGojira Apparently, these types of glitches happen occasionally with Showtime gigs. You can reset the venue that's still showing the gig by bulldozing and replacing it in Edit Town mode. If the problem turns out to be your sim, you can move out the entire household, bulldoze the lot (save the house to the bin if you want to keep it), replace the house, and move the family back in. This will reset your sims' promised wishes and opportunities. But as long as you keep them in the clipboard (as opposed to the bin) and move them out and in during one Edit Town session, they'll keep their jobs and relationships.
