I have noticed the sporadic outages as well over the last few weeks. I own the store but I keep track of the Daily Deal Spreadsheet. The store is down right now Dec 1st 9:28 am UTC. I check the website www.isitdownrightnow.com/store.thesims3.com.html to see if it is just for me or if the server is down.
Edit to Add: The store just came back up at 9:39 am UTC. The schedule of the deals is still in sync with the Daily Deal spreadsheet so the timing of the deals has not been affected.

17SLAY- I am glad to have provided a link to check if the store site is down. Thanks for your comment about the spreadsheet. It was a work of love by the Daily Deal team. Based on feedback back in 2013 and 2014, the spreadsheet kept evolving. Hard to believe that the spreadsheet has been used for 10 years already.
