Sims 3 stops when I click "start playing household"

If I use CAS it works fine but both move in household or choose household to play both stop working, the tick will turn grey but nothing happens, if I save and reload it opens in edit town mode and s...

Really don't know. It's not the bestest of computers but you should get past starting the game.

I really don't know what's up with that buttons staying grey.

I'll ask around
