Sims 3 stops working and crashes while saving ONLY in Edit town mode

Problem started after I installed the Sims 3 Seasons limited edition Expansion pack.  Its my first and only expansion at the moment. I CANT edit a Community Lot in town because sims 3 crashes while ...

Oh I was referring to busanfaa post.But I tried building another floor to my house and it didnt crash! :D

My problem was restricted to community lots, but bulldozing, putting the grid and then editting prevents the game from crashing.

Did you put the same lot back or is it just an empty lot now ?

    I copied the pinocle pond lot first to the library, bulldozed it, then put down the grid then returned the Pinocle pond. 
    Its a hasle but this way I could save it without crashing
