Sims 3 Store site down

I purchased the worlds bundle and tried to enter the code on EA app, it gave me an error message and told me to enter the code via the sims3 store and gave a code which is broken. So i go to the Sims3 store manually and try to access the redeem codes page and it errors and says the page is down, if you try to go to your account and order history it also errors. 

Questions: 

Does EA actually know this is broken?

Is there somewhere we can see how long we have to wait until it's fixed?

Do the keys sent via email ever expire? I have never had issues adding codes so I don't know.

    Hopefully mod will mark this solved by this comment but the site is working again and nothing is going wrong this time.
