Sims 3 System Requirements

Dear Simming Friends, 😕mileyvery-happy:

I have just purchased a new Acer V5 laptop and was offered a copy of the Sims 3 game from a friend, as I used to play Sims 2 on my old machine. Before I was about to install it onto the PC I was reading on a website the system requirements that the game needed to run and it said for Windows 7-8 needed 2Ghz or more for it to run.

Sadly, my PC will only do 1.7Ghz and I was wondering if I might be able to stretch the boundaries a bit and install it? All other requirements match (e.g.. RAM, Graphics Card).

I was hoping I could do this and any help will be much appreciated!
