Sims 3 Town Life

I am trying to install all of my Sims 3 packs. I am doing it in order. I have downloaded Town Life but when I tried to install it it did not work. I wanted to uninstall it and start over but it doesn't show up as being installed. The only option I get in Origin is "Play" but nothing happens when I click it.
