Sims 3 University Life Errors

Question

I've just downloaded the new Sims 3 Uni Life game, but when I try to play it it keeps saying that there are too many errors and that my game is not updated enough to support the new expansion pack ☹️ but there are no new updates that I haven't got so I'm really confused as to why it isn't working! It's super annoying as I had pre-ordered it for extra money and everything and now it's incompatible.. Is anyone else having this issue or able to help?&nbsp;😕mileysad:

Do you have patch 1.50? &nbsp;Check first. &nbsp;The launcher might say your game is up to date on the last tab, but if you don't have patch 1.50 for your base game, you cannot properly install/play University Life.

Where can you see if it's up to date? I'm under the "Game Updates" section, but I don't see what patch?

On a PC, you can use your mouse to hover over the base game icon at the bottom of the launcher. &nbsp;That number should be 1.50 something something. &nbsp;(If you have a Mac, it's a little more complicated, follow these instructions:&nbsp;http://bluebellflora.com/ts3-on-a-mac/checking-which-patch-version-youre-running )
