Sims 3 University Life-LOTS of issues-HELP?

Started playing on Tuesday and so far, my sim can't go to class because there are too many other students trying to get into the same building, 5 sims in my dorm have died from lack of sleep, it takes 2 sim-hours to get anywhere in the game. Anyone else having these issues? Know if they are going to be fixed? 

Also, lots of fires have been starting, my 4th Gen Sim just died in University and it's just sitting there waiting for her to "expire".

    Two Sims have died in my dorm from lack of hunger..it's so annoying. And Sims get way too hungry too fast on University. Is this some kind of bug?

    This has to be a glitch or something.  I tried to teleport her closer to the door using testincheatsenabled but once i clicked for her to go to class again she ran back to end of the line of sims!  ugh i hope they fix this soon otherwise all my sims are going to fail out lol.

    I'm having this exact same issue. There's a massive group of sims trying to get into the classes and my sim usually misses them. Even when teleporting, it's not guaranteed the sim will get to class. Driving me crazy who slow everything is when it's fine in a normal town. 

    I can't believe EA aren't fixing these massive bugs before bringing out more expansion packs. It's infuriating.
