Sims 3 University. RELATIONSHIPS back home and FAMILY TREE deleted???

So i've recently installed Sims 3 University on my Macbook. The game works fine as far as i know its just, one Sim day during my Sim being at university, all her relationships back home and her family tree have completely disappeared. She is now the only one in her family tree and the only relationships showing are the ones with Sims that are at the University.

Please help?!

    Dont worry, it's normal. When your sim goes back to home after completing the terms, it will have its families and those former relationships again. It is because they want you to focus on your university life :D
