Sims 3 was crashing so I uninstalled. Now it's stuck at "100% complete Installing"

I'm not the best with computers, but I think it's broken Origin, too, because it won't let me go online anymore. I make exemptions for origin and origin games in the firewall, and in Avast. I can't f...

    It's up and running again, as long as I run it from "administrator" mode. Still deathly sluggish, but c'est la vie. Better than nothing, I suppose.

Thanks, it looks like origin might have been the problem after all! I chatted with an EA rep who got me to obliterate the sims from my computer but that's a lengthy process, so they ended chat while I was doing that. =/ I'll see how this goes! Thank you!
