After The newest update to sims 3 (the one that lets you play item search during the load screens), my game refuses to shut down completely. It will save my games just fine, but it gets to a black screen, and will not shut down. I have to force quit out of the game in order to get to my desktop. Im looking for some way to fix this, I have not been able to find a fix for it.
Fret no more! There is a simple solution to your predicament! When you want to quit your game just click "save and quit" which will then bring you to the Sims 3 Launch page. Then all you have to do is exit out, before you exit out you can choose to log out if you want to. I'm very sorry if what I said doesn't help you at all because I do have vast knowledge about the game and about computers, but, for I'm only an 8th grader and my knowledge has its' limitations on subjects such as this. :catwink:
