I am not able to log into Sims 3. I forgot my password and when I try to reset it I keep getting taken to the main page of EA Play but do not see anywhere allowing me to change password, I even looked in my profile and nothing. Where am I supposed to go to change this?
b429e95901661a01 Click the button to sign into an EA website, then click "forgot your password" below the Next button. Once you've recovered your account that way, you can try again to sign into the Sims 3 launcher or Main Menu. For the password itself, the game doesn't accept most special characters, so use only letters and numbers.
If you've changed your password but still can't sign into the game, open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads and delete the file labeled [your email].bin. Additionally, clear Edge's Internet Explorer-mode data. The last step, which is often not necessary, is to clear the EA App's cache.
