Sims 3 World Adventure Code NOT WORKING!!??

My Sims 3 World Adventure serial code is not working when I add it to my thesims3.com account. it keeps saying code is invalid, but the supernatural code is working fine and I got them both yesterday at the same time. Also, do I have to have an active internet connection when I play a game I purchase and download on Origin?

    Make sure you type it in 100% correctly or contact EA and get a new code, they will ask for proof of purchase though.
