Sims 3 Worlds wont download in the launcher

Hey! Im trying to download worlds from the sims 3 exchange but every time i click download it says "Error downloading content {0}". I've tried to uninstall and reinstall the sims 3 and i go back to the exchange and when it automatically goes to download through my launcher it keeps giving me that error downloading message. Any Ideas as to why? I run on macbook pro by the way and i have the latest version of the sims which is version 1.70.

If you get the same error, go back into your main user account and drag the Sims 3.app (the one with the green plumbob icon) and the "The Sims 3 Packs" folder from the user Applications folder to the main one if they're not already there.  To open the user Applications folder, open a Finder window, click Macintosh HD in the left panel, then open Users > your username > Applications.  You can then drag and drop both the .app and the folder over Applications in the left panel and they'll move to that main Applications folder.  Then go back to the new account and repair the game from that account before trying to download store content again.

  • @0338060  This message is, or at least it used to be, related to missing files that tell Origin you own the game.  Repairing should put the files back: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 3 icon, and select Repair.

I did repaired it and then went straight to the sims 3 exchange and downloaded lucky palms but it still gives me that error message.

@0338060  Are your Origin and Sims 3 Store accounts linked, as in, do you use the same email address and password to sign into both?  Did you install Sims 3 using the same account on your Mac—the one you sign into when you see the lock screen, for example after you restart the device—as the one you used when you first installed the game?  When you open the launcher, are the icons along the bottom of the window, one each for the base game and every pack, lit up or grayed out?

They are both linked and every pack is lit up. I used the same email and address for both origin and the sims 3 launcher. I tried logging in the sims 3 launcher but it just gives me a blank box on the top right hand side, It always does that every time i try to log into the launcher.
