13 years agoSIMS 3
Hi, I recently purchased sims 3, which ran fine on my laptop, then yesterday i downloaded 'night life' expansion & 'town life' DLC now my game is extremely choppy and basically unplayable - with miss...
i actually only had the game for a few days prior to the DLC (which i downloaded yesterday) so i had one saved game and i deleted that once i installed the expansions...so i started a game fresh, it was playable to begin with...except for cars were missing but i could see my sims when they were driving? so i decided to delete that game and start another new one...now its unplayable, its either choppy or after a few minutes it freezes for some seconds.....
any ideas? perhaps you could help me with the graphics settings? they are all on default right now...? im not sure what to tweak in order to have a playable game...
Could you post your RAM and processor DxDiag as well.
Also check for new graphic drivers, yours are rather old.
everything from dxdiag will be in my next post, i saved it to a document so ill copy & paste, could you tell me how to download the drivers you speak about??
also sims 3 without the expansions works perfectly, if that means anything to you?
