Sims 3I lost my saved games
I have downloaded sims 3 from steam I have been playing it for one year today steam decided to update after the update I tried to play and everything was gone even the objects that I download. Feel really sad cuz I had all these families that I created and now they're all gone.
@csyntichakis Is it possible your saves were moved to OneDrive? Please check inside OneDrive's Documents folder for any Sims 3 content. If you find your saves, let me know; you'll probably need to stop OneDrive from automatically syncing the contents of Documents.
If you don't use OneDrive or it doesn't contain any relevant files, try searching your hard drive for *.nhd (with the asterisk). Each save folder will have one .nhd file per world that's been loaded, so if there are old saves somewhere on your computer, the search should find them. You can click on an .nhd file and click the "Open file location" icon at the top of the screen to jump to the saves' current location, then move your saves and any other content you want to keep back to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3.
