14 years agosims getting stuck
i recently downloaded late night and honestly i cant even play the game because A) either my sim is constantly getting "stuck" either getting in the bed or shower or changing clothes, probably at le...
yeah... but... I find the answer of just to uninstall/reinstall your game a kitten answer tbh. I mean.. it does TAKE A WHILE to install. then the patches.. then installing the exp packs.. i mean.. it would have been great if the "reset sim" option would have worked. Why didn't that work? Is there another way to move a stuck sim? they should really work on implementing a fix for this that players can use, because uninstalling a game and reinstalling just to unstuck your sim is really drastic.
when i play a MMO, they will sometimes cause a player who got stuck in a weird place to spawn at a nearby gate. or in gw2, you can click a nearby portal. It just seems really off handed for them to not implement a way for players to do something about this. Since it's obviously not isolated incidents.
yea i had that same problem as you, shower bed pool even getting in a car would ruin the game. i called EA and they told me that seasons uses alot of CPU, they were sure my computer being sh*t was the problem how ever i told them i had a gaming computer (alienware m14x) then they shut up after i told them my specs. i reinstalled several times and still had the problem, I uninstalled made sure all my drivers not just graphics drivers but my hardware like BIOS and chipsets drivers were up date from the dell website and patched all the games not including seasons played for a little bit it ran fine, i reinstalled seasons and it is now running fine, to be honest i have no clue what the problem was but it runs fine now, maybe check there make sure all your system driver are up to date (generic answer i know) but it did work for me, hopefully that helps
