Sims seasons "Im one day late in my game" :o

So according to the work calendar, love day was on wednesday(it was circled red). But then on thursday (5:00am) the "It's love day!" notification popped out. Then my sims wishes are about attending the festival and I also got party invitations. BUT my sims have work and school this day since technically love day was yesterday.

Is there anyway I can reset the days back to normal?

  • Try chaning the number of days to 10 (or whatever) and then back to 7. Maybe that puts it back on track.

  • What season cycle do you have set ? To default on 7 days ?

I don't think there's a way to reset. Maybe change the number of days and back.

  • Yep its on default 7 days. I have all the seasons, didnt change any settings. I just noticed the problem started on spring. Just suddenly,  Love day was off.
Leisure day is coming up soon for summer and its still one day late. It doesnt fall under the day it was circled, but the next day. My weekends are fine though (thank god). I guess just the "events" are messed up.

I have no idea how to fix this. ☹️

  • Ran the game for a few days in full speed to try the fix.

Okay I tried switching from 7 to 10 then back to 7. Day was still off. :l

Also I tried staying on 10 days just to see if it'll work. Leisure day supposed to be (according to the calendar) on a friday. It happened on saturday instead.

That is really weird. You should get the day off and the message and the day off should match (whatever the circle says)

Are you using mods in your game ?

  • Only the Ice lounge that came with the game when I bought it, but just in case I disabled custom content and ran the game. Day was still off.

    BUT

    I FOUND THE SOLUTION!! lol

Its just like what you said, change the length of season from 7 to 10 then back to 7. HOWEVER, it must be done WHILE IN EDIT TOWN MODE. From there go to options and do all the changes. :D

If season settings are changed while in the active sim's house, it doesnt fix the problem and the event is still one day late. (I tried)

My leisure day, love day etc. are back on track. Im still not sure what caused the days to be off, but at least now its fixed :')
