Sims won't move off couch, has no map tag and can't use cell phone

I sent my Sims to the university and had her sit down to read on her couch and now she won't get up. I can't click on her or use her cell phone and she doesn't have a map tag. Also, every few minutes...

The sim on the couch that wont move: I have had this happen to me as well, where the sim will just glitch. I have found that no matter how long you wait it will never move from that position, they wont even die ect. There is nothing that can be done to fix it, other than to start a whole new game.
