Sims3 game keeps crashing (PC)

I've been playing the sims for quite some time now, and it's never done anything like this, ever since the Pets EP came in the mail 2 days ago, its been crashing like no tomorrow, i cant even play fo...

Could you post the rest of your specs. The processor is below minimium requirements so it's possible Pets put it over the edge.
