sims3 website login issue&Origin connecting to launcher issue

i can't access my account on the sims3 website... everytime i go to log in it says "invalid ID or password"... i know my email address is correct.... i know i also didn't change my passsword. but to just reset it or get it by emai; i tried "forgot my password" and it sends me to my origin account info... and when i load the game launcher "unabled to connect to origin" comes up... even if i signed into my origin account before bringing the launcher up.... i don't know what is happening but i have a good bit of simpoints on the website account that i wanted to use as well as wanting to buy a heffty amount more for some priemium content (b-day gift to myself)... can somone please figure out how to reset my website account password and link it to my origin account and tell me how to fix the error of not being able to connect origin to my sims3 game launcher... any suggestions please... i'm really at a loss
