Okay this is weird. Sometimes when I build a wall, not all walls, I try and use the sledgehammer tool and instead of deleting the wall, the tool creates a new wall. It gives me money for this wall as if I were deleting it. If I try and delete it again, it will just keep creating walls making the problem bigger and bigger so basically I have to reload from my last save to fix the problem. Anyone else encounter this? Why does all the weird stuff happen to me?

I have not heard of this issue.
I am not using any mods. I thought maybe it was a glitch having something to do with something I accidentally placed. It happened once in the basement creation and once on the first floor creation. Only in that specific spot and other walls I'm able to delete just fine. In fact if I delete all walls on the lot, it starts working fine again. It's just weird.
Probably just a glitch in one spot of your lot. Just do what you normally do to fix the problem until you get what you want. This might be fixed in a few updates, but I would ignore it until then if there is a way to get around it. If it keeps happening in a certain spot on your lot don't place walls there, place them around it and turn it into a garden or pool or something.
