Teens can have babies, get married, drink and pretty much do anything YA can do with or without mods. But they can't use the slot machine that came with the casino. Does anyone know how to unlock slot machine for teens? I find it silly of all the things age restricted in the game it's this. I have almost all of the Nraas mods.
PCB82 Sorry for the late reply. I finally got around to trying this on one of my computers, and I saw the same thing, even after a restart. So it seems like the game blocks this on a more fundamental level than Retuner can touch. You'd need a mod to unlock the interaction.
If you haven't already, it's worth asking about this on the NRaas site. I don't know of any NRaas mod that unlocks the slot machine interaction, but someone there may know where you can find one.
I put in retuner and it was set to true for teens for everything and I can only hack it. I still can't use it the normal way. There must be additional settings we're missing.
PCB82 Install NRaas Retuner if you don't already have it. Click City Hall or an in-game computer and select NRaas > Retuner > Show Object Menu (to set it to True). Click a slot machine and select NRaas > Retuner > [name of interaction] > Allow Age Species > Human Teen (to switch from False to True).
You may need to try a couple different interactions before you find the one that unlocks the object for teens. For example, with the Martial Arts board breaker, Practice is already set to True for pregnant sims, but my current pregnant sim can't use it unless I set Practice \ Foam Board to True for pregnant sims as well; that unlocks using all types of boards.
As a side note, teen sims cannot get married or pregnant without a mod. That's always been the case, in this game and Sims 4 and probably Sims 2 as well. Drinking "nectar" is different since it's not supposed to be alcohol and doesn't have intoxicating effects.
