So many problems sims 3 64 bit mac

Question

Hello I have had The Sims 3 64 bit installed on my 2015 MacBook Air running big slur ever since it came out in October of 2020 I have never been able to play the game successfully due to such bad gameplay. To start off the graphics are completely horrible and whenever I try to adjust them it just makes the whole game not want to work there is constant red flashes on the screen, I am unable to download any cc (and for some odd reason all the eyelashes are super bulky). I just wanted to know has anybody been able to fix these issues in their game or does anybody know of any updates ea will put out for the 64 bit? It is super frustrating and upsetting that I haven’t been able to play my favorite game in over 2 years now&nbsp;

Bulky eyelashes affect everyone, as far as we can tell.&nbsp; There's no fix for it, although you could try removing the EA eyelashes and using custom content ones instead, that is if you can get cc to install.

As for the custom content issue, please let me know what happens when you try to install it, including a screenshot of any error message you get.

For the graphics, 64-bit Sims 3 unfortunately doesn't run particularly well on your hardware, and lowering the graphics is often the only way to make the game work at all.&nbsp; You can try playing with the settings a bit, or uninstalling the Pets expansion if you have it; maybe you'll find a balance you can live with.&nbsp; In particular, lowering the lighting and tree detail settings to the minimum seems to help.
