Best thing to do is to delete all ebc files in DCCache, all files in DCBackup and completely reinstall all Store content. Sometimes the files get corrupted.
For the worlds you also need to clean out the Store world files for in InstalledWorlds.
Start with the worlds, then lots, then sets, then single items. After you are done, backup those files in DCCache and if you run into issues again, put those back and only reinstall the stuff that came after the backup.
Also the launcher has a cap and can't display all items. If they are ingame, you're good.

So how do you delete all ebc files in DCCache, all files in DCBackup? just uninstall and delete from the launcher?

You go to documents\thesims3 and move the two folders DCCache and DCBackup to the desktop (it's safer than deleting).
Start the launcher and let the game create a new folder. Then close the launcher and move the files *.dbc from the folder on the desktop back into your game (that's all non-store stuff). Then reinstall the Store content.

So you ARE at 1.38 ?

Hey Crinrict,
I have this exact same problem, am completely updated (Base Game is at 1.38, just so you know) have no CC or mods, nothing but store content. I have done this "fix" several times, too, and it's not working for me either. I have deleted my DCCache files and DCbackup files, all of my cache files, all of my installed worlds, I've done everything. This has only started happening when I installed Supernatural and the new store content patch 1.1, which it prompted me to install twice (weird, right?). Hope this helps you out.
