Store content uninstalls suddenly

I am calm down now, and I understand there is a way to fix it by deleting certain files from the Sims 3 directory, but no one should have to resort to such extremities
I know this is old but any news on this. I've been hoping that we have news on this since people on the sims 3 site has been having issues with this. Myself included. I will be happy to share this thread to them so that they can post on this issue. More people the better. Some have moved to the steam version because of this issue. I will share this thread with them.
@Creeper545548 This is an old issue with several causes, so there's no one fix or way to prevent it. I'm not sure what you're looking for, but if you'd like help with the issue on your own system, let me know whether deleting SigsCache helps and whether the content has actually disappeared, i.e. whether the .ebc files are still intact in DCCache.

- @puzzlezaddict Update. I did what you said and content was still missing. It happened again today. Had to create a new sims 3 folder and slowly reinstall everything.
