Hello, every time I try installing a Sim from the store, the installer opens and loads as usual,
but then the installer opens, doesn't install the Sim and brings me back to the Launcher.
I tried reinstalling my game and download the Sim with no CC whatsoever, still won't work.
I can download CC without a problem, it's just the Sim that won't.
I don't know what else to do ☹️

@pacifiqueholly The sim itself might be corrupted, or it might use content that you don't have installed. But if you want to troubleshoot, one thing you can try is installing the sim in a clean user folder. Move your entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, open the launcher to create a new folder, download the sim, and see whether you can install it.
If this doesn't work either, feel free to link the sim here, and I'll take a look.
By the way, if you're downloading a sim, not an item, that sim is from the Exchange, not the Store, and can therefore have custom content attached or be compromised in some other way. Exchange content is all player-made, and there's no real quality control.
