If there are any gurus without a guru name, or moderators that aren't listed in the thread that tells people who the moderators are, I don't know about them. We still abide by the forum rules in that we don't know any personal information about anyone, including each other. I just assumed that the other moderators became moderators like me-- I had a lot of time on my hands!
The most I've done as far as mod requests are asking about tweaks to existing mods. Through MTS, I figured out how to do most of those tweaks myself. As far as what you're looking for, however, that's far beyond my limited tuning capability. If you come across an object made by a player that has clutter removed from it, I would actually suggest posting and saying, "I'm interested in getting a simple concession stand, but I don't know anything about this. Do you take requests?" If you're willing to try to do it yourself, you could even add on, "Or is there a good tutorial somewhere that may help me figure out how to un-clutter the concession stand?" Most modders are very friendly and happy to have feedback. If they've figured out how to do it for one thing, they may be either willing to help you learn to do it or even do it for you.
And no, I don't get to play the games before release. I don't get any inside peeks or extra information regarding upcoming releases-- I find out about these things at the same time that the information becomes available to anyone else.
