Hey,
FIRST. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING (I'm on my phone so I can't bold😆), MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR ELECTRONIC ARTS FOLDER!
Okay, so now I have a question. What did you exactly delete?
Okay. Now here:
1) First, you should've uninstalled the downloaded Sim(s) from the Sims 3 launcher (Open up the launcher --> Installed Content --> select the unwanted Sim(s) --> click Uninstall --> guided steps from there I think)
2) To get that stuff back into your folder, what I would do, is that I would (MAKE A BACKUP FIRST!) delete the Electronic Arts folder (in Documents), then, you should launch the game, quit out of it, and then, that should create a new Electronic Arts folder. Then, you can (for example) delete the NEW Saved Games file and then replace it with the BACKED UP Saved Games file, so you can have your stuff back.
By the way, if you want to get those download (wanted) Sims to work, you can open the launcher, click "Run Without Installed Content" around the top, click "Ok", launch the game, quit, reopen the launcher, go to installed content, and if "Run Without Installed Content" is unchecked, you should reclick it, click "Ok", UNcheck it, then launch the game. Then, when you're in the world that you want to put the Sim(s) in, click "Edit Town" from the "..." down in the left-hand corner. It should be the 3rd or 4th one down. Then, you should click "Sims" or something like that, I forget, sorry 😁. But it SHOULD be the 1st tab. Anyways, they SHOULD be there. I used this method whilst using a MacBook Pro, and it worked, but I don't really know about Windows.
DO NOT BLAME ME IF THIS METHOD DOESN'T WORK. I AM ONLY TRYING TO HELP.
Cheers!
