The Sims 1, Expansion Pack, Living Large, Unleashed, hot date, vacation and Sims 2

Hi, I just made an Origin Account because my friend told me it would solve my issue with my games being PC games instead of MAC games, and it being to late to return them. I received 7 Sims games and a Rollercoaster Tycoon game from my uncle as a house warming gift, however, I just moved to LA and bought a MAC. The games are for a PC, and it's too late for him to return the games.

My friend told me that I could try putting the product codes on Origin and figure out something. I am unable to get the product codes to even validate on my origin account.

Can you assist me with this issue? The games cost him a lot of money, and I don't have the heart to tell him they were a waist of money and cannot even be used.

Let me know if you can help.

Thanks,

Kaitlyn Richey

  • You can use OS X's Boot Camp feature to install Windows if you have an Intel-based Mac and the Mac has Mac OS X 10.5 or later. Most recent Macs (except the 2nd gen MacBook Pro) do not have a DVD drive so you will either need a USB DVD drive or install Windows through USB media. If your Mac does have a DVD Drive, you can install Windows using the disc.

Note that Origin does not accept the codes of The Sims, The Sims 2 or The Sims Stories. The Sims 3 or The Sims Medieval codes will be accepted however which will give you a free download copy of the activated game. EA doesn't currently provide support for The Sims or The Sims 2 usually but I decided to help you.
