The Sims 3 - Error Code 12

1. Do you have enough room on your computer to store save files?

2. Back up your save files. Here is a guide on how to do that: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-backup-my-saved-games-in-the-sims-3/ .

3. Delete your files in the save folder, but do not delete the save folder.

4. Take your backed up files, and put them in the saves folder.

Sorry but I have already tried that but no luck - and I only have one town which I haven't done very much in because  it hasn't been able to save so it shouldn't be a case of not enough memory. Thanks anyway.

Thanks 'rumbutter' but I think this is more then just an error code problem - I think only EA could understand it if they'd bother replying to me!
