The Sims 3 cannot reedem a code, code expired

Hi, I have a problem with adding codes for my Sims 3 DLC to the EA app. It says that the code is expired (for DLCs like Island Paradise, Seasons, etc.), but for some, it says the code has already been used even though I haven't used it. I can't contact the store employee anymore because I purchased it a long time ago and the store no longer exists. It was a verified and legitimate retailer.

I also tried adding these DLCs through The Sims 3 Store website, but it didn’t work because my code is 20 digits long, and the website only allows 16-digit codes.

Thank you for your help.

  • VanessaSchultz  For the Store site, you'd need to click Register a Game.  The Redeem a Code option is for content like Store worlds and bonus items.

If these codes don't work on the Store site either, you'll need to contact EA customer support.  First, take a photo for each pack showing the disc, its case, and the product code (clearly readable).  You can upload these when you submit the help request.

I would strongly suggest using the live chat option rather than email.  If you don't see it, try this link:

    https://help.ea.com/en/help-contact-us/?product=the-sims-3&topic=missing-game&category=manage-my-account&subcategory=find-missing-game

Make sure you're signed into an EA site (this one is fine) before clicking the link and that the location in the lower-right corner of the browser window is set to U.S. or U.K.

Alternately, try using the help site without being signed in.  Some categories of issue allow you to proceed without an active login, and many of those offer the live chat option.
