The Sims 3 crashes after maxis logo

Hello,  I am really unsure what the issue is. It was working completely fine until it started acting up when I would alt+tab.  The game would crash when trying to tab back in. Then it got to the poi...

    I don't know Avast at all.

    can you add exceptions ? Try adding the ts3w.exe to see if that makes a difference.
