I have some content that I have downloaded from the Sims 3 site, and when I go to install it, some of it installs fine, and others tell me that my game needs to be updated. My game is updated to the most current version, and still some content won't install. Any help would be appreciated.
What is your base game version right now ?
To find out, open your launcher and hover over the little base game icon in the lower left part of the launcher. It should say 1.50.

Are you trying to install from the Sims 3 Store or the Exchange ?
