The Sims 3 My Sims will not sleep glitch.

Hi when I am playing The Sims 3 my game glitches only on my world no others. My family wont sleep or nap and when I try to get them to sleep or nap it cancels out the action and if I click relax on the bed  it teleports them onto their bed and then when I click sleep it teleports them off. This glitch is really annoying because my Sims energy bar still goes down. I tried deleting my previous world but kept the family and house and put them into another world AKA Twinbrook but the issue still happens with anything to do with sleep in the game. Thanks for reading and please help it is really bugging me and I don't want to delete my Sims or the world! -calkat38

    have you tried the reset sim cheat ?

    to reset all sims ctrl+shift+c hold all 3 together in the menu bar that appears at the top of the screen type in resetsim *   (inculding the * hit enter ) this will reset all sims inculdeing your own

    to reset one sims ctrl+shift+c hold all 3 together in the menu bar that appears at the top of the screen type resetsim first name last (of your sim ) hit enter for example my sim is named John Dear i type in resetsim John Dear or  sell the bed and replace it with a new one

    I have tried the cheat before and it did not work nothing is working sadly and I don't want to delete my family. Anyways thank you for your answer hopefully everything will be solved.

    you won't have to necessarily delete the family or move them to another world move the bed around in case it's to close to the wall or replace the bed   or edit town move out move back in

    I still have this problem and have to do a cheat for them to sleep.  Did you find a solution?

    try deleteing the bed and getting them a new one.That glitch has been around since the base game!
