The Sims 3 Refuses to Launch on Windows 11

I have recentky bought a new computer which has Windows 11 installed.

I can launch all other games apart from The Sims 3, the launcher pops up but whenever i press play it takes me back onto the EA App. 

Is there any reason for this and any way that I can fix this?
