I once has a same problem with you. I have registered with Origin before with TheSims3.com. So when I did it with thesim 3 web, they said my code was invalid.
I think you should contact https://help.ea.com/ and ask them to generate a new code for registration as I did. I got a new code to regist and everything is ok now.

When you buy the game from Origin, it is automatically registered for you on the Sims site; it can take some time for it to show up on your "my page" though. Try logging in and out of both account and see if that helps. Here are some helpful posts on registering your games:
