The Sims 3 Seasons won't install - it says install Sims 3 first

Are you trying to mix DVD and download version ?

Nope, two hard copies. They both installed perfectly beforehand, but after uninstalling I reinstalled Sims 3 perfectly - Seasons just doesn't think there's Sims 3 on there.

    Windows 8. Don't see why it should make a difference though, as they both installed perfectly before.
