Windows 8. Don't see why it should make a difference though, as they both installed perfectly before.
TS3 does not like to be reinstalled. Many times the game does not have to be re installed. Many times it's just the user data that's causing the problems. uninstall all. Use a registry cleaner like ccleaner form Piriform (there is a free version). Then install base game. Open Origin and make sure it is up to date. Open the game and patch. close game and open game again and there might be a store patch. Play game to live mode. NOW install the next pack, patch, etc.

Operating system is important since troublesshooting steps may vary, especially if people have macs 🙂

- Anyways, does the base game work fine on it's own ?
- Did you install to the default path ?
- What is your base game version right now ?
Open the launcher and check the number in the lower left corner.

Base Game works perfectly. Yes and 1.57 etc
