The Sims 3 Showtime Simport - Stuck Sims

When I got Showtime, I tried sending a magician and a singer out.  They came back, but the other friend never held their show and I could not cancel their shows.  Eventually, their games became corrupted and I had to deleted them, but nothing ever freed up their slots.  They are still stuck in simport world, no one knows they are there and they have no games to be in.  It probably would help if they could get cleaned out by EA.

Recently, I found someone who would host my sims and have tried simporting again with different sims.  Sometimes it works and sometimes not.  This last time, I tried simporting a magician (Exponentially Excel) and the friend held his show but no stamp was awarded and now he cannot simport again, even though it seems like the required amount of time has passed.  I am wondering if because he tried to get the same stamp perhaps the previous magician was trying for, that they are interfering with each other somehow.  I have also experienced the same type of problem when I do a singer.
