The Sims 3 Store isn't showing my SimPoints!

I recently reinstalled The Sims 3, after years of not being able to play it, because it crashed all the time, but I decided to give a try since I know EA updated somethings on it, so I thought I would see if it worked now, as it turned out it does, I've been happily playing for hours each days for about 4 days now. So I decided to go on the Store the first day, and everything was normal, I could see how many SimPoints I had, but, today I went on there to maybe buy some newer items that I hadn't gotten, and I noticed I couldn't see how many SimPoints I have.

I looked everywhere in on the site, and couldn't find it. And then because I knew I didn't have much points left, I decided to buy some, which I did, but again couldn't see how many points I had, I realize it probably wasn't smart to buy more when I couldn't even see what I have, but I thought I would be able to find it eventually. But I really can't find it.

I asked the stupid chat bot for help, and it said something pretty weird, it said: To see how many simpoints you have, look for the purple triangle icon at the top-right corner of the war store menu.

What is the WAR STORE MENU? War Store? I think it meant Main Store Menu, but the fact that it is obviously being buggy itself, makes me think the Store is being buggy too.

So does anyone have any idea why I can't see how many points I have? Because I really don't want to be flying blindly on there, not knowing how much is left, it makes me worry how much more will be screwed up on the site. Just don't want to pay for more points and then somehow lose them, because of a buggy site.

  • claramj  You already know where the points counter is supposed to appear, but sometimes it doesn't because the site isn't loading correctly.  Try accessing it in a private browser window (to eliminate the effects of cached data), and if that doesn't work, try a different browser.

The site loaded my points just now, so the function isn't broken overall.  But this does happen to me too here and there, and it typically resolves on its own, or when I clear my browser cache.
