Thumbnails are blank in CAS?!!!

I went into the CAS and it was working fine then all of a sudden the thumbnails are blank which makes it so hard to choose an outfit. I saw other forums "similar" to this but with no real answers. Also when this happens I have noticed that my game is dimmer than usual and when I go to save it freezes. Please help me someone. Days of searching for an answer has made me grumpy (according to my husband)
