TS3.exe file doesn't work?

I don't seem to get a repair option when i right click on the game, any of my games really so it doesn't show up for Kingdoms of Amalur or Simcity either. And I made sure the compatability settings were correct and even right clicked the .exe and ran as admin.

Is your computer a pc or mac? Do you have any expansions packs installed? Please post make and model of computer and the operating system you have. The game does many things before it actually starts the game any of which could (and does) cause the game to crash. Starting the game from the .exe program bypasses the launcher disables features. What happens when you click the play button.

I have a Sager custom gaming laptop. Its an i7 2.4ghz, 16gb ram, AMD8970, windows 8.1 build up to date, 64x, And I have Sims3, Ambitions, University life, and World adventures.

Could you post this info: 

1. Click on Start and then type the following into the search prompt at the bottom: perfmon /rel
2. Press Enter to proceed.
3. A window will open and in there you can click on the red circles with a white X.
4. After clicking the X, the info on the bottom will update. Choose the Sims 3 Critical Event one and right click on it and choose "View Technical Details"
5. Now on the next window, choose Copy to clipboard at the very bottom and post this into a reply to us here.

I have the sims medival as well and I loaded that and tried it and the same event occured with that as well, im guessing a similar issue

Sims Medieval seems to have issue on Windows 8. Not sure that it runs. You might wanna check the medieval forum for that.

• Do you use digital downloads or dvd version or a mix ?
• When did you buy the base game ? Before or after september 2012 ?
• Do you have any other oddities on your computer ?
• What security software are you using ?

-Yes the game is running on 1.67 but wont open before or after I patched it

-I use a digital copy of TS3 and a dvd copy of TSM(ill check the TSM forum if this isnt  the same issue/resolution)

-Yes I believe i bought both before Sept 2012 actually, I bought Sims3 just before pets, and TSM right after?

-The only major odditiy is my graphics driver is cutsom because low and behold AMD can't write utilty drivers for anything so Sager wrote me a hybrid one for the processor etc

-Bit diffender, Spybot both freeware, other than that i run my own security analysis via cmd etc.
