Unable to connect to EA download manager.
Hi everyone, I'm new here. I have played the Sims3 on steam alot for over 2yrs and loved it so much. Found Origin and it had awesome sales going on so bought a ton of sims3 stuff. I CAN'T PLAY ANY OF IT ☹️ First it said :
ERROR
Your The Sims3 Base Game is incompatible with the current Sims3 Expansion pack. Please update your game via the game launcher.

Soooo I found a link on the site saying it is the patch to fix all sim3 problems. Ok downloaded that and it got rid of the first error but still have the second error, plus it is complaining about scripts and do I still want to run scripts on the page. I am no Techy person. ☹️
Just wanted to enjoy this awesome game. This was the first pack I bought on Origin

1.67.2.024017 is now what I have after the patch download. I'm so freaking confused. Can anyone please help me. I just want to play so bad.

Yes I did that right away. I did find however online that others had trouble with this particular bundle. They recommended uninstalling late night. I uninstalled that and was able to get on sims3 and play. It still wants to fuss a little but I just keep clciking till it goes thru. I may have more problems as I install the other things I bought but right now I can get on after uninstalling late night. I hope that was a permenent fix. 🙂 Happy gaming to you too!
