I am not having any of these three problems but still get the error message. I have Origin installed.
If you have tried everything here: Try the tips here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Unable-to-connect-with-origin/td-p/186744/ , I really don't know what could be the issue.
