unable to connect to eadm

I know origin has replaced ea downld manager, but when I try to refresh the update page an error message appears saying unable to connect to ea downoad manager. SO I can't download the riverview world, and other installed content. I have downloaded the newest patch 1.67 version super patch, the 1.7GB one... ☹️ please help!
