Unexpected error for Sims 3

The Sims 3 used to work fine for me, but all of a sudden it has been crashing and saying "Unexpected error." I tried to look up solutions, but people just said to delete all custom content and get more memory on my laptop. I deleted every single custom item I had, but it still came up with the same thing. I have deleted 4 of my 8 expansion packs, and that still has not worked. I am very upset, because there was money involved and I love Sims. I am very disappointed that this is happening. If anyone knows a better solution to this problem that actually WORKS, please tell me. Thank you. 🙂

Your welcome and IP does have issues they need to fix. If your going to downlaod cc, google custard or delphy's dashboard . It will tell you if CC files are bad. If you downlaod things just pay attention and if you see your game acting up after you download CC remove what you downloaded. Sometimes CC can be fine and then it will not work with a new patch.

Would I have to uninstall all of those then?

I would and then see if your game will play if you do have all 4 of those installed. Try Pets and Island Paradise first since those are probably the two most demanding. Then see if your game will play. If removing those two does not help, try uninstalling into the future , test the game again and seasons last if the game still wont work.

I'm going to try to play the game right now. If it doesn't work after deleting the ones you told me, what should I do?

It actually let me get through create a sim mode....I think Sims Island Paradise was the one that made this happen. I just recently downloaded it and I think that was when it all started. So it seems to be working fine. Thank you for all of your help! Do you think I can try redownloading CC or no?
