Update to my situation:
I tried movin even just one of my sims to University, and it still didn't work. I just get the "new town" screen and the options to create a family or move in a family from the bin.
After having my computer off for the day, I made sure everything was up to date - which it was. However, I am still having the same problem.
My sister suggested to trying moving my Sims to the bin and moving to a new town.
However, I cannot save my sims (or the house) to the bin! I can't even share it to the Sims 3 website - it says it failed.
This is very frustrating because I worked so hard on this family. I don't want to lose everything.
- Did you ever have Twallan's traveler mod in ? - No
- Are your Sims supernaturals ? - Yes, both my Sims are Fairy's
- Anything unusual before going to uni ? - Not that I was aware of
- Are you going to uni on your own or are other Sims with you ? - I tried both situations, but no success
- Do you have world adventures ? - Yes I have all the expansions packs, and stuff packs.
- Did you start a new game with a new Sim ? - No
