I have been spending a great deal of time trying to reproduce many 'bugs' people are reporting in various places and while I notice that the OP lists some mods to remove I have fund a long, long list of them causing anything from small glitches to huge messes with UNI. In a few cases, of course, after UNI is installed there are now mods that conflict with other mods so you have to test individual mods and mods together to determine your issues. In some cases the creator has already posted the mod is okay with UNI and since then the mod has caused problems.
Of course I mod myself, and every mod I have written required some update for the game even though they had been fixed for the 1.50 patch. Not to point fingers here so I will just let you know that I have posted to the creators the test results I have found so they can look into their particular mods so hopefully these will get fixed and new ones for UNI users will get posted or if the UNI changes in a mod don't conflict with the base game, just a new update of the mod will be released. This is also not to blame mods for all the problems - there are UNI issues but there are also a lot of mod issues. In some other cases using mods have exposed an issue with the game but to work around it until the mod is adapted or EA fixes the underlying issue removing the mod will remove the problem.
If, by any chance you did not remove mods before installing the EP, and have game crashing issues or the game will not load you will need to backup your games, uninstall UNI through the control panel, remove your mods and cc and re-install UNI.
Anyway. the reason for this post is to let you know that if you are having an issue with UNI and have a mod or mod in the game you have to remove them no matter what they say they are updated too or if the creator says now they don't need a UNI update. Remove then and then see if your issue is there before you blame the game. If the issue disappears with removing the mods then you are faces with a mod-game or mod-mod conflict and need to add mods back in one at a time and test for the issue to return.
